Prime Video released an exciting new full-length trailer for the upcoming third season of The Wheel of Time. Which will premiere globally on March 13, 2025. The Wheel of Time is based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling and epic fantasy book series of the same name, It is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.

The action-packed trailer highlights this season’s high-stakes drama and gives a peek into its changing world. Where the powerful Aes Sedai, Moiraine Damodred (Rosamund Pike), is tormented by her visions of the future. Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski) struggles to fulfill his destiny as the Dragon Reborn. Will he choose the Light or let the Darkness consume him?   

Season Three’s storylines are primarily based on The Shadow Rising, the fourth book in Jordan’s series and a fan favorite. Viewers will explore many new regions and cities across the Westlands, including the vast deserts of the Aiel Waste. The season also introduces Tanchico, an intoxicating and dangerous port city, and Rhuidean, a fog-shrouded ancient city forbidden to outsiders. In Rhuidean, Rand and Moiraine will experience life-changing revelations that alter their paths forever. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Rand’s childhood friend Perrin Aybara (Marcus Rutherford) embarks on a personal journey. His experiences in Two Rivers will shape him in ways he never imagined.

 About The Wheel of Time 

In The Wheel of Time, a humble farm boy, Rand al’Thor, discovers that he is the Dragon Reborn. A powerful figure from history who will either save the world or shatter it. The Wheel of Time turns, and the Last Battle approaches. 

After Rand defeats Ishamael, one of the most powerful Forsaken. He reunites with his friends in Falme and earns the title of Dragon Reborn. But in Season Three, threats against the Light multiply. The White Tower stands divided, the Black Ajah run free, and old enemies return to the Two Rivers. The remaining Forsaken are in relentless pursuit of the Dragon. Including Lanfear, whose deepening bond with Rand forces a crucial choice between Light and Dark. As his ties to the past unravel and his corrupted power grows. Rand becomes unrecognizable to his closest allies, Moiraine and Egwene. Once teacher and student, these powerful women must now work together. To prevent the Dragon from turning to the Dark—no matter the cost.
