Season Three’s storylines are primarily based on The Shadow Rising, the fourth book in Jordan’s series and a fan favorite. Viewers will explore many new regions and cities across the Westlands, including the vast deserts of the Aiel Waste. The season also introduces Tanchico, an intoxicating and dangerous port city, and Rhuidean, a fog-shrouded ancient city forbidden to outsiders. In Rhuidean, Rand and Moiraine will experience life-changing revelations that alter their paths forever. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Rand’s childhood friend Perrin Aybara (Marcus Rutherford) embarks on a personal journey. His experiences in Two Rivers will shape him in ways he never imagined.
